Take action
to help Ukraine
You can help Ukraine today by helping fix shortages in supplies and expertise created by the invasion. Everything imaginable is needed but we can start by helping Ukrainians live as comfortably and safely as possible in nearly impossible circumstances.
You can make an impact in so many ways
-
New and good-condition secondhand items can help tremendously: First aid kits, MREs, camping gear, emergency blankets and tents are all needed. Please contact us directly to assess what you have to donate, and determine to which of our west coast, central or east coast collection centers these items should be shipped.
-
Ukrainians are in need of jobs and in the post-pandemic era employers should consider ways to hire Ukrainians remotely. There was a thriving tech sector before the war and displaced and endangered people can still work online. We have partnered with Akholi Foundation to aid in placing Ukrainian IT and engineering professionals with employers.
-
Medical surplus: Ukraine will continue needing insulin, chemotherapy drugs, and all of the treatments that were already urgent before the war started. Scrubs, PPE, clean bandages, tourniquets and trauma surgery supplies are needed more than ever.
-
Expertise: We are putting a call out for any who can offer expertise in media, remote support for doctors, translators, engineers, logistics and safety experts that will be needed to fill the gaps in NGO services created by the war. We have representatives inside Ukraine and Poland, in the EU and UK, and across the US to collaborate effectively with specialists to ensure that your skills are put to impactful use.
-
Make a tax-deductible donation and spread the word. Please give generously via any of the three options below, and share the opportunity to give with your friends and colleagues. This is the fastest and most impactful contribution, and usually the most easily converted into aid where and when needed.
